This humorous, heartbreaking, intimate and inspirational film exposes the true reality of having Alzheimer"s and the toll it takes on a family caregiver. Yes, taking care of a family member with Alzheimer is difficult but there are also many heartfelt and funny momments. Alzheimer's might be known as The Memory Thief but it's incapable of stealing love.

What is the 48/5 Film Contest? Teams of filmmakers come together to write, shoot, edit and premiere an original five-minute production in a mere 48 hours. At the start of the competition, participants are given specific elements- a location or character, a prop and a line of dialogue. They then must pull a genre (comedy, drama, thriller, etc.) out of a hat. The challenge of the 48/5 Film Contest is to incorporate these elements and stay true to the selected genre.
